Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a marriage certificate in the state of Uttarakhand, the
applicant needs to satisfy the following eligibility conditions:
The bride should be 18 years and above.
The groom must be and 21 years of age and above.
The applicant needs to be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
Government Fee
The applicable charges for marriage registration are listed out:-
Application for Certified Copy
Application for certified copy a court fee of Re. 1/- shall be affixed to it, and
Rs. 10/- stamp fee shall be payable.
For an ordinary copy, the fee payable shall be Rs 25/-, the copy shall be provided
within a week.
For urgent copy- Rs. 50/- will charge, and it shall be issued within three
days.
Inspection Fee for Marriage Certificate in Uttarakhand
In case of an entry for the current year, the fee shall be Rs. 25/- and Rs. 50/- if
the entry is for previous year plus Rs. 10/- extra
for every previous year.
